OCTOBER EDITION
Little jobs now can help your lawn cope better with the wetter, colder months.
Clear leaves regularly so they don't block light and leave the lawn damp underneath. A light rake or suitable mower collection setting can help when ground conditions allow.
As growth slows, avoid cutting too short. Mow only when grass and soil conditions are suitable and keep off very wet or frosty lawns.
Moss may be linked to shade, compaction, low grass vigour or persistent moisture. Addressing the underlying conditions is important.
Compacted lawns can benefit from suitable aeration when soil conditions permit. Avoid working saturated soil, which can cause more damage than good.

REAL WORK · REAL RESULTS
Scarification can look dramatic while the work is being carried out. It removes excessive thatch and debris where appropriate, helping prepare a lawn for further renovation.
We also offer aeration, overseeding and lawn renovation tailored to the condition of the grass.

LAWN PROBLEM OF THE MONTH
What to look for: Soft green moss between grass plants, often in damp, shaded or thin areas.
Why it happens: Grass may struggle with shade, compaction, drainage or mowing too low.
Our tip: Don't just treat the moss. Check why the grass is weak, and consider whether soil, drainage, light or maintenance needs improving.

From lawn-care packages to scarification, overseeding and renovation, ask our team for advice.
